Ser Harold Westerling could take the role played in the books by Ser Perkin the Flea - this was after the Blacks were losing control of King's Landing, this hedge knight Ser Perkin claimed that his own squire, Trystain Truefyre, was a bastards of the Targaryans, and crowned him king in fleabottom and knighted every common man who flocked to his banner. They were able to take several of the city gates and areas of the city around them. Controlling them and holding court until the Blacks fled the city, where upon they took the Red Keep and Tystain was sat upon the Iron Throne. Perhaps Ser Harold will instead perform this role - rather that do what Ser Barristan did and join a ruler to follow (Dany), Ser Harrold will instead watch the Greens and Blacks fighting over who should be king, making a mess of it, and everything breaking down into factions, and going 'Seven Hells, I could pick a better ruler!' and doing just that.

Regarding Adam of Hull and House Velaryon: I think the 40 dragonriding houses are mainly separate from the rest of the Valyrians by money (expensive to keep dragons). Like the nobility of a kingdom are the same "species" as the common folk but have status which has resulted in them having more money. I never thought that the non-dragonriding houses were separated by not having dragon riding blood because there's nothing from before the Fall of Valyria to suggest that marrying into a non-dragonriding house would dilute the blood.

I honestly feel bad...I had no idea two other content creators had already posited the question I posed. I hope it generates views for them!

Expecting Sara Snow is just ridiculous. Sometimes people have no sense of what story is being told here. HOTD is firmly a Targaryen drama, with Hightowers and Velaryons deeply enmeshed in it. Everything else is peripheral. The whole North sequence was fan service, and a welcome one. The Wall was shown entirely to please GOT fans. That's why the meeting was relocated there. That's it. Don't get greedy demanding more. That stuff is not an important part of the story of the Dance of the Dragons. And rightly so. This is not GOT. It's not about the Starks. I don't want to see them more than we need. At the time when we are dealing with grieving Luke, nobody needs this Sara Snow nonsense. Fire and Blood is written as a history book and that's fine but the TV show HOTD is a fantasy drama. Sara Snow simply had no place in this story being told in this episode.

I will say as an autistic person myself, Helaena 110% reads as autistic to me. Her reaction to Blood and Cheese and her scribblings on the wall are very consistent with that interpretation too.

Robert rings of power was written like crap, you can just admit it. House of the dragon is written incompletely in fire and blood as well and they aren’t totally blowing it and making it feel like a feminists wet dream without any logic whatsoever.
