All hail King Robert of House In Deep Geek.
Thank you. Great Q&A. You're awesome.
Great stream Robert 🧝♂️
Just talk in your normal voice, dude.

00:12 LOL! 12 seconds in... "THE KING IN THE SOUTH!" 😅
Imo Dune is pretty dumb story wise.
Genuine question- did you enjoy the first season of this show and find it well written? Forget accuracy to source material- just did you actually find it a compelling watch on its own?
Stannis did not believe in prophecy as far as I'm concerned.
I had the big book The Lord of the Rings unfortunately it got destroyed when I had a flood in my house 12 years ago. I managed to get another one albeit the one with the movie cover. I still try to read it every couple of years because I always seem to find something I missed previously. Thank you Robert for your shorts, videos and especially for your live streams, You are a LEGEND and appreciated greatly 🌟
I think Jon Arryn is a good Hand of the King in a tough situation I think the Tyrion point is a good one, Jon was there for longer but it seems like Hands of the King don't have a clear view into the money side of things, and Littlefinger wouldn't want him to anyway.
I still think the main only failure of the casting Cristin Cole. Having a super short dude as a knight of the kings guard… a kid basically. Is not representative of who he was. Criston was Jaime Lannister esque.
Sorry could not be in the chat Had a root block injection in my back yesterday morning so was asleep and recovering. great stream as always king robert sending mod love and chat love too🐲🔥❄️ 🐺
Hope you feel better soon.
@@Lone_Wolf_LT thanks @lone wolf
Dang I missed this one live!
Thank you for 4 hrs of great content and it did make me chuckle a bit as it looked like as if you are sitting in Aegon's lap. Also thank you for all you do to help people in need.
Love listening to Robert. Good job treating every question as a legitimate question, some are rather silly.
haha! King Robert sat on his throne!! Looking forward to dot this 4 hrs+ livestream! Mod love and general love to this awesome community.
Hopefully the chat replay is available, along with the excellent patreon questions, we had some awesome discussion in chat as well!
I personally think that the show will end around Alicent’s death.
Wondering why Roose did not take Ramsey with him in Robb Starks campaign hoping he can be rid of him
Keep up the great work mate!!!!
Gilraen for the baby! If you wanted a nickname, call her Gilly (ASOIAF bonus!) Or Raeny.❤
I like to think that Elrohir and Elladan split their choice like Elrond and Elros, and maybe the one that remained human to keep an eye on their sister, stayed in the rebuilt Annúminas as Lord or Prince or something and held it for Elessar, and the other eventually left for the West. I'm currently working on a fanfic around this theory. 😊
I loved your insights and discussions on RoP. I say (request) that you do more once S2 is out.❤
1:08:24 A small problem with Roos´s plan is that if you keep overspending your ally´s armies, you are eventually going to run out of them and your own army won´t be enough to do the job.
18:00 Catelyn is described as clever, but never shown as clever. Quite to the contrary in fact. The only good advice she ever gives is when she demands that her son stays true to his word that he has given to Freys.
I cannot express how much i appreciate the time and effort you put into your channels i have learned and listen to you since the Targaryens lived as middle class in Valeria ❤
2:52:50 I like House Brax. With their unicorn and color scheme, in my head I always call them "The Knights of Lisa Frank."
I very much maintain that in the show he will find out about the prophecy right before Rhaenerya dies. This will be a major factor in him breaking mentally.
With the secession crisis I am wondering why Ned didn’t try to convince Benjan to marry instead of take the black. I think Ben did know about his sister that she was not kidnapped but went willingly and maybe had guilt about that.
Great live stream.
Have you ever discussed what if Rickard Stark proposed a marriage between Lyanna and Rhaegar before he married Elia Martell and it was accepted.
I really hope you see this comment. What happened to your old videos? I remember you having one for the witch king and for the nazgul as a whole. Did they get taken down? I definitely remember a Tom Bombadil video.
Robert is actually incorrect about why Gregor Clegane uses the title Ser and not Lord. The Cleganes are not lords they are landed knights. They are the lowest rank of the gentry and while they own lands have less rights over those lands than others. One right they don’t have is the right to deliver justice as they see fit. They must appeal to their liege in those situations.
3 hours of Minas Tirith, yes please 😎👍🏻
Robert Arryn is probably an Arryn because little fingers knows Varys would have found out if little fingers was sleeping with Lysa and would have used that info.

I think I disagree about your thought on if Boromir had lived and made his way back to Minas Tirith. I agree to the point that with Boromir, Denethor would've tried to hold on to power. I believe both of them them would've witnessed Aragorn un furl the standard of the 7 stars during the battle of the Pelanor fields and would've been swayed just like Eomer was and the rest of the folk of Gondor. Unfortunately with boromir's death Denethor was too grief stricken to accept that his line was nigh ended and was so hell bent on taking his own life and Faramirs. But it makes me a bit sad that Denethor chose to take his own life and wasn't able to witness Aragorn declare himself king by unfurling the standard because it is my favourite part of the books. You know when Eomer stands on the hill with no hope and stands in defiance of the enemy... I love it
There's another detail about why I think he chose that specific poison and its poetic. You see, Tywin's famous victory against the Reyne-Tarbeck revolt ended by him commanding his men to seal off the mines of Castamere where the Reynes were taking refuge, and flooding the mine drowning everyone inside. This is essentially what was happening to Tywin's body. His body had been sealed and he would've drown in his own "waters". Poetic. Hence the horrible smell that follows his corpse that not even the silent sisters with all their knowledge can keep under control.
I was under the impression that the arkenstone didn't corrupt because it was a powerful object but because of dragon sickness from smaug hoarding all that treasure for so long
Are the maesters mass murderers or Simply Animal Abusers?
Tin foil theory time Robert. Grond IS the original Grond. Morgoth was taken away at the end of the first age, but his weapon was left behind. It still had the same technology/magic embued within it. Since we are never given a true account of the size of the Valar, it could have been that large. Sauron collected the original Grond and reforged it to smash the gates as he could not come up with a greater tool to do so. I don't actually believe this, but would be really cool.
This is the best vibe. Thanks for doing this man
After the destruction of osgilith and the fall of minas morgul and the occupation of ithilian, minas tirith became basically a Frontline fortress so my guess is that a majority of the occupants living there are essential personal for the upkeep of the capital and it's defenses. The population would be much lower than the southern fiefs that were much further away from Mordor
My favourite hypothesis for the valonqar is a little complicated. I think that Jaime is on a redemption arc that will end with him dying a noble death defending the realm against the real threat of the Others, probably while also defending Brienne. Then Arya will use her skills to wear his face to infiltrate to Cercei, where she will kill her. So we get a double dip of the 'younger sibling'; Arya is the younger sister of the Starks, and Jaime is the younger of the twins.
Great video and learning a lot from you
1:32:00
Gotta get your audio fixed. Love your videos. You are too good for such bad equipment!
I think there’s a very good chance we get a dramatic and emotional scene from Rhaenerya right as she’s being taken away to die where she tells Aegon III the prophecy. Aegon, facing all of the death and now the weight of what he must do, collapses inward, until Viserys II returns. Aegon tells Viserys the prophecy so that he’s not alone in the burden, which is one of the reasons Viserys works so closely with Aegon and his sons in their rule. I think Baelor probably wouldn’t have passed it forward due to his beliefs. So my guess is it stops with Viserys II or his son. Either he does not tell Aegon IV or he does and then it dies with Aegon IV who does not care. My tinfoilish theory is that Viserys II actually bucked tradition and told Aemon Dragonknight instead, since Aegon IV couldn’t be trusted with it.
I personally think we will get a pretty emotional scene where Rhaenerya tells Aegon III the prophecy right before she dies, like as they’re getting captured. The weight of the prophecy and knowing he alone has to carry it on will be part of the reason that Aegon III is so depressed, beyond seeing like everyone die of course. Depending on where the show ends, we may see Aegon III pass it onto Viserys II, even though Viserys II was a few kings later. I could see the prophecy ending with him, as maybe he didn’t trust Aegon IV with it or maybe Aegon IV ended the prophecy.
Thanks for another great stream Robert. Work has kept me from the lives but nothing like having some good content to enjoy after a hard day!! Thank you for all you do!
